Christ Among Neighbors is a faith based organization offering a crisis intervention service to residents of Shippensburg.  They have been in operation since 2001 and their mission is to offer assistance to those who have exhausted every available means for rent, utilities, medical supplies,  car repairs and other necessities.  They also offer guidance, referrals to Church communities and to other social service agencies. They have seen a vast increase in the number of clients coming to them for help and are in need of volunteers to help on Wednesday afternoons or Saturday mornings or to work at home on phone calls or computer work.  If you are interesting in helping please contact them at canshipinfo@gmail.com or call
