Adult Sunday School

A new adult class, led by Carol Himmelbright, will begin this coming Sunday.  The topic is “The Forgiveness of Jesus,” a Six-week study.

Hear the good news: “If we confess our sins, He who is faithful and just will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness”….and …  if anyone does sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous; and He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world.”

In this 6-session video Bible study, biblical experts share six events in Jesus’ life that provide a deeper understanding of the reason Christ gave His life on the cross.  Six professors with specialized areas of knowledge each emphasize three components: 1) Historical and cultural background; 2) An engaging, close look at the biblical text and its meaning; and 3) Accurate, encouraging, and challenging applications of the Bible’s message of forgiveness to life today.
